Concussion Resources

WHAT IS A CONCUSSSION?

A concussion is a brain injury, most often caused by a sudden direct blow or bump to the head, that cannot be seen on routine x-rays, CT scans, or MRIs. It affects the way an individual may think and remember things, and can cause a variety of symptons. This page is to help players, coaches, parents, referees, and individuals to recognize concussions, and to offer resources in the event a concussion occurs.
